Volvo Vista

The Volvo International Service Training Awards (VISTA) is the world’s largest service market competition, featuring over 16,000 participants from the Volvo Trucks and Volvo Buses global dealer networks. In the 2024 competition, 101 Australian teams entered, with three teams from VCV Sydney making it to the semi-finals in Italy. Team FHE advanced to the finals in Sweden, showcasing our technicians on the global stage. Although they didn’t win, they gained new skills and insights to bring back to our workshops, enhancing their expertise as heavy diesel mechanics.

Mack Masters

Mack Masters is a biannual global aftermarket competition where teams of service, parts, and warranty professionals compete online to qualify for the hands-on finale in the USA. VCV technicians have consistently excelled in this event, honing their skills and striving to be among the best in the world, demonstrating their commitment to excellence in the truck mechanic Australia field.

 

Two teams from VCV Australia will compete in the 2025 Mack Masters Global Finals in the U.S. later this year.

UD Trucks Gemba

Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2024, the UD Trucks Gemba Challenge is a global biannual technical competition that has seen Australian participation soar. The Gemba Challenge emphasizes the importance of our dealership and workshop floors, where our passionate personnel deliver premium and dependable products and services.

 

In 2022, VCV had two teams in the finals in Ageo, Japan, with the VCV Brisbane North team placing an impressive second overall. The experience fostered team cohesion and highlighted individual skills, making it a rewarding and memorable event for our heavy vehicle apprentices.
